The trend of the Foodie 2.0 was already announced by The Food Channel in 2009. Food lovers want to connect through the internet to talk about their passion. They want a virtual community to share their experiences, recipes, favorite restaurants and suggestions.  


As smartphones and mobile internet applications are conquering the world, it has become nearly impossible for us to get offline. According to the predictions of Trendspotting, location-based social media (LBS) are the new and upcoming trend for 2010.
